95 engine into 99 car?

I picked up a solid 99 Impreza with out an engine.
I have a 95 auto 2.2 engine, but the harness does not match up.
I also have a 2.5 intake from a 01 forester with wiring but havent compared the plugs yet.

Is there an easy route that I can take to get this to work?
Please help. Im new to Subaru and Rally cross season is fast aproching.

I was thinking of using the 2.5 engine harness onto the 95 2.2.
I have the wire diag. for 95,99,&01
Does any one see a problem with this? Will the whole 2.5 intake fit onto the 2.2?
Does the 99 use a MAP or MAF?

I put a 95 2.2l in my 98, but I had to use the 98 intake manifold, and the 95 exhaust manifold. You might have swap a couple of the censors.

Thanks for all the help. I ended up finding a 99 intake, I swaped the wiring and injectors to the 95 manifold. Had to swap the coolant temp sensor.
Ive got everything ready. Finishing it up tonight.
Only problem I can see is the throttle body from the 99 (wiht IACV) doesent fit the 95 intake. And the wiring for the 95 IACV doesent match.
So Im hoping it runs correctly but just wont idle.
