Im going to Pismo Beach CA for my bday to ride my quad. I wanna take my subie out just on the beach so I burst my cars cherry for sand. I kno what to do with trucks with lifts and actually all terrain tires. The subie is a different story for me. And I know Ima need to air down but Im at a loss on what to do. So let me get some suggestions.

I dont have any rally tires or dirt tires on either sets of my wheels. I have my street wheels which are 17" Konig Feathers wrapped in 225/45/17 Nitto Neo Gen tires. Still a lot of tire life left on them. Then I have my stock WRX wheels that have Falken Ziex tires that arent to aggressive for street, they are radial tires with about 60% tires left. I figure I'll need some side wall but I dont know if a stiffer side wall with the 17's would be better or not for sand. I can drive in the sand I have driven 2wd trucks in the sand but I think its a little different with the Subie cause I dont have that much clearance.

SO let me get some suggestions or if anyone has experience in sand with subies. If it helps I have a few power mods so when it doubt gas out haha.

Sweet deal! I may not have to go through the troubles of switching out my wheels. I just don't wanna be stuck it's embaressing haha. The way I'm starting to look at it is. If a dodge caravan can make it in the middle of the dunes my little subie can be fine on the beach!

Be really careful at the river crossing. It could be 3 inches deep in the morning, and 4 feet deep in the afternoon. If your car gets stuck in the river, it will be buried in just a few hours. Seen it happen in person.

Yah Ive seen trailers and campers get carried out to sea. Well if I ever do go out to Pismo(i didnt go for my bday :( ) Im going with trucks and jeeps so they all have tow straps and im NOT gonna get stuck ima just pin it to win it. That creek is there till it starts to rain and the water run's out.
