I just purchased my 2002 wrx wagon last night. hopefully i will be working towards making it dirt worthy soon.
skid plates, mud flaps and some undecided suspension (going to need help on that one) are all on the to do list. any other helpful tips are welcome.

I read somewhere about a group that gets together to watch rally videos at some bar here in san diego, anyone know anything about that?
Kyle

Welcome, do post some pics of said wagon. I used to be in San Diego and there was one get together to watch rally videos, but I don't know if it continued.

I too have a 2002 WRX (sedan) already equipped with a skid plate and RA mud flaps. I am also Kyle. Glad to have you.

Another welcome to another convert over here on the dak side, ye be warned that if you drive a black suby, you have definately chosen the dark side

Only problem with black and Off-road means your going to notice every little chip/scratch you get on the sides and on the bumpers.. Hence my 2-tone paint job...

:D WELCOME!

Yes indeed welcome! that is the only reason I did not get a black one... but then again with the WRB its the same thing. I have an extra TD04 turbo in case you are looking for some extra get up and go.

i dont plan on touching the engine except maybe an exhaust because i would like to actually hear the car.
