Running Lean

Hello,

2005 WRX With 3in TBE
Installed a catless Up-pipe , with stage 2 tune.
Car is now beginning to run lean.

Recently I believe my MAF could be failling.
As well as Front O2 sensor.

Could either of these because this?
If the o2 sensor is damaged, is it likely that its giving false readings?
Is it more likely to be something else?
Over time what damage can this cause?

My front O2 and MAF went at about the same time. I ran WICKED lean until I replaced them.

Mine was a pre cat...I just got mine from the dealership.
Does your local impreza forum have a discout on parts at the dealership? We get 10-15% here (don't remember).

Have you thought about cleaning the MAF? I've heard that they can give poor readings if they're dirty. If you have an oiled air filter, it'll get dirty even more quickly. You'll want to double check this, but I think to clean them, you just spray on brake cleaner and let it evaporate.

How lean is it running? My first thought would also be the O2 sensors as well. Also I have heard that the uppipe can throw it off a little if it is not part of your stg2 tune. I run UTEC and I know that the stg2 is just the TBE. Then stg 3 is the Up Pipe and intercooler. Just my 2 cents.

I have Cobb Stage 2 , as far as I know - other people say their cars are fine with up-pipe.

So I think its a case of wrecked o2/maf

so it seems to be running on avg. 14.5-15.5 fuel ratio.

I'll let you guys know how things end up when I get the o2 sensor.
