$70 seems like a really good deal to me. i paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 for my rear cusco alone. also, strut tower braces will definitely improve performance in street applications and autocross (if that's what you meant), however a lot of people will tell you to stay stock in this department for rallycross applications. personally, my car is my daily driver and that being said, i modded it for pavement primarily. i don't feel as though my performance in rallycross has suffered at all, but i had only done one while my car was a bone. when you make adjustments to your car, you can make adjustments to your driving. mod away and have fun!

sweet i will probably order it then. some one told me to get the one with the hbrace but with it being a brand i never heard of i didnt really want to shell out like 150 for them... so i was looking at the one with out the h brace... how do i avoid stap steering? so this wouldnt affect my car at all thought (in a bad way)going off road?

They're just knock off STi ones, Strut bars have never been really proven or disproven. I found on my older Talon they helped a bit. I don't have any on my STi simply because I'm broke this summer and the front one I bought doesn't fit over the STi intercooler. I should sell that. The fron strut towers on Subarus are boxed to the unibody making them fairly stiff. I see the rear one helping more on the wagon because you don't have the metal package tray above the trunk tying the two towers together.

I was just about to say, they look alot like the cheap knock off STi ones (i think i have one sitting in my closet). Strut bars dont do a whole bunch, especially the front one since it ties across right in front of the firewall. The firewall is the main stiffening point perpendicular across the chassis at the front of the car. Regardless i still have a nice cusco one :)
The rear one may do more for a wagon, as stated by Drew simply because there isn't much chassis by the struts connecting across. The one strut top bolt in mod that i can actually vouch for is this:

After putting this badboy in, the back end of the car felt much more responsive, and i was able to induce oversteer much easier. Its a pain to put in, but is the next more effective thing to welding in a cage that mounts on the strut towers. Unfortunately they dont have very many applications available ( i think only GD chassis Imprezas) but rumor has it that they have a GC version coming out shortly. I'm supposed to do a video for them on the Project RS when its available. :crosses fingers!:
