looking at getting some rally armor mud flaps before i go to crown king on the 15th... will they fit the saab 92x or not? as long as they fit the impreza wagon i would think they should fit mine? but im not sure.

If they dont fit, drill holes in them. Wont hurt em.

pretty sure they will fit in the back... but looking like there is no way to put them in the front... i if i can find some batteries i will take a pic... i think its cause the way the fenders are on the 92x vs the wrx/sti

If ya get em and they dont line up then I will help you put me on, we will take pics of how we did it, and then ask Rally armor to start making em that way for your car. Let me know if ya need a hand.

I think on the website it mentions something about them not guarentee fitment on the 92x, but you can always modfy them.

well the problem is one of the little clip spots is indented by like an inch so you wouldnt be able to secure them all the way.... and i liked rally armor cause you dont have to drill into your car. and there is only 3 spots on the front that you can see to pull the pins out of

Sounds like how every impreza is also, and is why rally armor includes 1" spacer with their kits.

I had to slightly modify them for my wagon.

I had to slightly modify them for my wagon.

Same here. If the saab is setup like an 07 wagon then you will have to do some simple mods:
-drill through the front of the sideskirt to gain access to one of the mounting points.
-trim one of the front plastic mounting clips for a correct fit
-elongate one of the slots on the rear flaps

Also, you will only be able to use the bottom three mounting points on the front flap unless you want to drill through your fender. Totally unnecessary as the three lower mounting points are quite sturdy as is.

BTW, I would really recommend saving up for the limited version. The urathane flaps are awesome to have around town: no worries about scraping them up over speed bumps or sharp dips; you can't even tell they are there.

^ for the regualar one do they crack if they scrape anything or if a big rock hits them?

That's the charcoal canister. Not totally sure what it's for, but if it's not there you get a CEL. I also heard that it helps prevent getting a gas smell inside the cabin and it also for some reason vents into the cabin. Beyond that I dunno.

I've read that some people have had them crack in really cold weather. Not sure about how they take hits from rocks. I don't think I'd worry about them breaking either way (I doubt rally armor would sell them if they were prone to breaking).

Oh yeah, and that damned charcoal canister is just begging to be ripped off by a rouge rock

If you live in REALLY cold weather, the classic and basic flaps can freeze and get brittle. Usually they will be fine, but if its REALLY cold where you live, id recommend the UR Limiteds...

The UR's are nice, just expensive! Think id have to rock the new red ones...

I am ordering some of the "Basics" and rigging them up on my girls Forester.
