So yeah i just ordered these today. DirtyImpreza "Spotted" cards. I am willing to mail out packs of 15 to dedicated DI members that are down to keep these in their cars for when they see other subaru owners on the street. This way you can leave a card on their car, and hopefully they will check out the site and join up in the forums.

I ordered a bunch, but please dont ask for them if you aren't going to give them out. That defeats the whole purpose, and it would suck to have wasted my money. :tongue: Here's what they look like!

I had to go grayscale to keep the costs down. PM me your mailing address and when these come in, i will be mailing them out for distribution to the masses! I expect them to be in around the end of September.

yeah its not a new concept (i still have spotted cards to give out for IWSTI). If they are ready then definitely i will be bringing them to DM2. VistaPrint can take their effing sweet time sometimes though, so well see.

If not i will mail them out through my work, so its not a big deal.

Thanks for all the members that have requested cards. On top of this the response from the Myspace bulletin i posted has been nothing short of amazing. Sounds like an awesome place to hand them out. Cruises and meets are ideal for the cards.

On another note, I almost ran out of Spotted cards. I called up the supplier and placed another order so 1500 cards are on their way! I got some freak deal (25% off my order of 1000 cards + 500 more for $3) WTF is that? anyway stoked to replenish the supplies. PM me if you are out of cards and want to send out more.

I spotted a new impreza wagon today, funny thing was it was with a lot of other subarus and still had the price tag on it. So i had to put a "you've been spotted" card in the window sill.

Weird that a car lot would keep that stuff on there lol!!!

Not in August , but I've helped instruct at the Primitive School since it started..We've probably met at some point. We attend many rally events, rally school, Subiefest, WCSS, rally x's, and other random functions.

The rally school is fun stuff, and a great way to build the skills. Some great drivers have come out of that school. '08 will be a great season at the school, and on the stages with some new events coming up.

I encounter at least 2-3 OBS' everytime I go to borders... I typically bump into the owners while lookin for subie sport, or the auto section... besides that I find STi's and WRX in the mall parking lots constantly...

I have even jumped out of the car at a red light to give a card to a Silver WRX it was very sexy and a Blue WRX STI on the same day but this time I passed it through the window at a light then he showed me just how fast his STI can go I was jealous. So now I was turbo on my subie.

So I parked next to a WRX today when I went in to get my lunch. I put a spotted sticker the door and went inside. The guy must have seen me and when I came out he was sitting in his car waiting for me. He obviously didn't read the card except for "Dirtyimpreza" and he asked me "So is this some kind of porn site or something?"

....

I reply "Well it depends how much you like your Subaru." And drove off.

I don't think he gets it.

yeah ive left notes on windshields, but when you are passing a subie on the highway, its kinda hard to write a message, yeah i know passing things between cars is kinda dumb on the highway, but hey, anything for my favorite subie site, right?

What if you put a spot on the card to put your dirtyimpreza.com user name so they know who referred them.

just an idea for next time you have to reorder, sounds like it won't be for a while though...

NEW DI spotted cards have arrived... another 2000+ of them. This time there is a spot to write your screen name in the forums on the card. HOWEVER i took a gamble on the gloss finish and it didn't pay off very well. You can write on it with a sharpie, however it needs to dry, or it will wipe right off.

The next batch will probably not have gloss on this side so that you can write on the cars with not only a sharpie easier, but a ballpoint pen.

haha i got a good idea we get like sleeves that look like a parking ticket sleeves and say youve been spoted! in like a red stamp you need to get your car dirty and we mean DIRTY! dirty impreza.com and line below to sign a username in like a red stamp and the cards inside
