wow i am dumb! why didnt i think to have the talkabout in my car ON and listen for if i hit cones... rather than just hoping i dont...

it's actually quite hard to listen to the radio when you're in the car. i found myself not even paying attention to the thing while i was drivin. was only focused on the sound of imminent doom on my undercarriage and the sound of the engine!

i didn't hit any cones during those two runs, but my first 3 runs i hit a total of 12 cones! that crushed my previous record of 2.

Hahaha, all in good taste. I just couldn't help myself! I think I'm going to have to create a small gif for my cone vendetta. I was clipping corners left and right at El Mirage (read clipping cones) and flat out ran over a couple while trying to get that 180 down. Poor cones...

Yeah sometimes we give out the "cone killer" award (mini cone) at our rallyx events when someone is mashing them all over the place.

12 cones definitely would have got the award for that day...

i was gonna go but i already had plans and didn't know it. i had a family thing to go to on the 22nd, and without my knowing until yesterday, it got switched to the 23rd.

It came out very nice. Looks like a lot of people showed up. Cool of you to catch the panda in action too!

there were 42 registered drivers and somethin' like 31 cars. it was a good time, terrain is so harsh though. at one point we followed the organizers' truck around the course for about a half hour just picking up rocks 4 inches or so in diameter and larger and the bed of the truck was full at about the halfway point! there was a broken rear sway bar, a broken axl, and i think a couple exhausts.

THANX! yeah, the diaper was really weird. we didn't know about it until aaron (not all there) and his buddy pointed it out to us right after it happened. bizarre. :tongue:

It wasnt neccesary, there was plenty of beer to be had DrewSTi is just a sally and likes twisted tea, lol!!!

I was there as well, I brought up all the exterior action footage. I filmed the front wheel drives were filmed from down near the finish line and the AWD's from up on the hill as I was passengering in Blix's car for most of his runs (except of course the one were I recorded his car).
